Singer-songwriter Bob Barrick brings together Colorado’s best musicians to honor and breathe life into Jimmy Buffett’s vast catalog of “Gulf & Western” music. Shows feature greatest-hit sing-a-longs for the casual fan, deep cuts for the truest Parrotheads, and spacey jams for folks who don’t know the difference. The band infuses Buffett classics with adventurous musical exploration, stretching familiar tropical tunes into uncharted waters while keeping the spirit of 1970s Key West in tact. DARIA & THE HIP DROPS
Combining the grit of alternative rock with tropical tones of the Caribbean, Daria and the Hip Drops have been rocking the New Orleans scene since 2010. Inspired by artists like No Doubt, The Talking Heads, Toots & the Maytals and The Arctic Monkeys, Daria and the Hip Drops released their debut album “Hipnotic” in 2015 to roaring success, including being named one of Jimmy Buffett’s favorite bands. At the forefront of this musical odyssey stands the dynamic Daria Dzurik, a charming frontwoman whose vocal melodies are as captivating as the resonant steel drum beats she commands. The vibrant hooks are not only uplifting, but rebellious as they are carefree. The group has continued to carve out their niche on the New Orleans music scene, delivering their feel-good vibes alongside the likes of Tank & the Bangas, Dumpstaphunk, and Cowboy Mouth.
RYAN BALTHROP & SLIDE BAYOU
Singer-songwriter and bona fide troubadour of the Gulf Coast and Caribbean, Ryan Balthrop and his band Slide Bayou combine island-hopping southern folk, blues, and rock ’n roll for a one-of-a-kind performance. Defying classification, their musical style resides somewhere along an uncharted border of Mobile Bay and the Caribbean Sea. They have performed across the country and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and are ready drop anchor at the Son Of A Sailor Fest stage!

Jimmy always said he was a "child of the Mardi Gras" and anyone from Mobile would say that same thing! In that spirit we're kicking off the party the only way Mobile knows how: with a jumpin’ second line parade lead by the one and only Blow House Brass Band! Titans of the Mardi Gras sound and masters of their craft, Blow House will bring that brassy funk that will have you dancing down Dauphin Street like it's Fat Tuesday. Follow them through the streets of old Mobile all the way to Cathedral Square where they will take the stage to start the party off right!
